KYIV, Aug 28 - The total amount of funds that have already been allocated for carrying out road works in Ukraine in 2017 exceeded UAH 20 billion, while the length of repaired roads exceeds 750 kilometers, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has said.

In addition, he said patch work has been done on 40,000 km of roads.

According to the information and communications department of the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the prime minister noted this year all the work has begun on time, in April, whereas last year the first road tenders were held only in August.
