KYIV, Aug 23 - Electricity generation in Ukraine increased by 1.9% year-on-year in January-July 2017, to 90.07 billion kWh, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has told Interfax-Ukraine.
Nuclear power plants (NPP) increased electricity output by 14.1%, to 52.191 billion kWh. Output at Zaporizhia NPP amounted to 21.919 billion kWh (33.3% more than in the same period in 2016), Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP generated 9.449 billion kWh (3.1% more), Rivne NPP 11.125 billion kWh (6.4% more), and Khmelnytsky NPP 9.698 billion kWh (0.2% more).
