KYIV, Aug 22 - The Nielsen consumer confidence index in Ukraine in the second quarter of 2017 for the first time in three years returned to the level of the third quarter of 2014, to 57 points.
This is 5 points higher than in the previous reporting period - the fourth quarter of 2016, according to the Nielsen Global Consumer Confidence and Spending Intentions Survey.
"Partly the growth of the index is caused by positive changes in the economy and the political situation: a slight increase in GDP, a visa-free regime," Director for Strategic Development of Nielsen in Ukraine and Belarus Vitaliy Bryk said.
