KYIV, Aug 16 – Rinat Akhmetov, the wealthiest Ukrainian businessman, bought a blocking stake of 25% of shares in power distributor Donetskoblenergo on August 16, SCM Group, Akhmetov’s holding company, reported Wednesday.

The stake was bought by Ornex, which is part of SCM Group, at an auction held by the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF).

The SPF sold a blocking stake (25% of shares) in DTEK Donetskoblenergo at the price of UAH 143.8 million.
