KYIV, Aug 4 – General Electric and state-owned railroad company Ukrzaliznytsia will work to modernize a fleet of diesel locomotives and their servicing using Ukrainian components and production facilities, the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported.
According to the report, the sides declared the concrete directions for cooperation in a letter of intent. On August 3, 2017, the letter was signed by Ukrzaliznytsia Board Chairman Wojciech Balczun, board member Marek Zalesny and GE Transportation General Manager for the CIS, Europe, Middle East and South Africa Gokhan Bayhan.
