KYIV. Aug 2 – Ukraine’s largest coal producer DTEK boosted 6.6% output of run-of-mine (ROM) coal in January-June 2017, to 14.807 million tons, including 13.447 million tons made by Ukrainian assets of the group, the company reported. The figures also include DTEK’s Obukhovskaya coal mine in Russia.

The higher production of thermal coal by DTEK Pavlohradvuhillia, DTEK Dobropilliavuhillia and the Bilozerska mine in the reporting period - by 18.9%, or 1.835 million tons, to 11.574 million tons, contributed to growth of coal production.
