KYIV, Aug 2 - Ukraine produced 26.9 million metric tons of early grain and leguminous crops from an area of 7.4 million hectares (76% of the forecast) as of August 1, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported. The average yield was reported at 36.4 centners per ha.

Winter wheat was harvested from 4.9 million hectares (77%), the harvest was 19.1 million tons with the average yield being 39 centners per hectare, winter barley was harvested from 2 million hectares (81%), the harvest was 6.7 million tons with the yield standing at 32.5 centners per ha.
