KYIV, July 31 – The Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry does not rule out that the bill on the turnover of farmland would be expanded with a paragraph permitting companies to buy up to 1,000 ha of land.

"Now the possibility of permitting companies to buy farmland is being discussed. This would not be more than 1,000 ha per company and rather tough qualification requirements will apply to potential buyers," First Deputy Agricultural Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine Maksym Martyniuk said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
