KIEV, July 26 – A total of 1.355 million metric tons of imported coal was shipped to Ukrainian thermal power plants (TPPs) and heat and power plants in January-June 2017, including 313,000 tons from Russia in June and 44,600 tons from South Africa.

A source in the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine that in January-June 2017, some 1.091 million tons of coal was delivered to Ukrainian power plants, including 145,100 tons from South Africa and 118,900 tons from Poland.
