KIEV, July 13 – The European Union supports the European aspirations of Ukraine, which are stipulated in the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, European Council President Donald Tusk said.

He made comments after the EU-Ukraine summit in Kiev last week had failed to approve a communiqué highlighting the country’s ‘European aspirations’ due to opposition from the Netherlands.
