KIEV, July 6 - Ukraine increased by 5% on year imports of petroleum products to 3.34 million metric tons in January through June from 3.21 million mt in the same period a year ago, the State Fiscal Service reported Thursday.
Reflecting the higher oil prices this year, the value of petroleum product imports rose 34.9% to $1.746 billion in January-June from $1.295 billion.
Fuel imports from Belarus amounted to $903.572 million (a share of 51.75%) in January-June, Russia to $416.528 million (23.85%), Lithuania to $151.344 million (8.67%), other countries to $274.738 million (15.73%), according to the service.
