KIEV, July 3 – Ukraine increased transit of Russian natural gas through its gas transportation system to Europe by 21.8% year-on-year in January-June 2017 to 45.704 billion cubic meters (bcm), PJSC Ukrtransgaz said in preliminary data.

Gas transit through Ukraine to Europe in the past six months amounted to 44.355 bcm and to Moldova - 1.348 bcm.

Transit in June 2017 grew by 19% year-on-year to 7.448 bcm. Gas transit through Ukraine to Europe last month was 7.321 bcm and to Moldova - 127 million cubic meters (mcm).
