KIEV, July 3 – Ukraine will seek to integrate its power grid into the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E), Vsevolod Kovalchuk, the head of the power grid Ukrenergo, said.

Kovalchuk responded to criticism in the media that the company is now working hard enough to integrate with the European system.

"The goal of the numerous technological measures that we are going to implement is, first of all, the modernization of the infrastructure, the improvement of the quality of power generation and transmission, the enhancement of our own energy security and energy independence,” Kovalchuk said.
