KIEV, June 16 – President Petro Poroshenko has met with a delegation of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) headed by NDI board chairwoman and former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

"Albright stressed the importance of giving Ukraine defense weapons with the aim of ensuring the legal right of a sovereign nation to self-defense in connection with Article 51 of the UN Charter," the administration's press service said on Friday.
