KIEV, April 19 ??“ The Ukrainian government mulls creating a special economic zone (SEZ) on Zmeyiniy island, the ministry's press release reported with reference to Transport Minister Viktor Bondar.

The proposal foresees simplified customs procedure for goods and equipment of commercial entities that implement their projects in the planned SEZ. The ministry also proposes tax and customs benefits similar to offshore zones, the press release reads.
