KIEV, June 12 – Kiev City Administration is holding talks with Finland's Fortum Corporation and France's Veolia Environnement on cooperation in heat pipelines management, the administration said in a response to an inquiry by lawmaker Mustafa Nayyem.
"After termination of the contract [with Kyivenergo to manage heat pipelines] the Kiev's heat complex is transferred to municipal management. The city is looking for optimal and beneficial ways and forms of management of the energy complex, holding consultations with leading European operators of energy facilities (in particular, Fortum and Veolia) on possible cooperation," reads the document posted by the lawmaker on his Facebook page.
