KIEV, June 7 - New automobile sales in Ukraine rose 33% on the year to 29,500 units in January-May, according to the AUTO-Consulting information and analytical group.

As reported, in January-April the increase in the car market was 29.6% compared to the same period last year, in January-March the figure stood at 35%.

According to the group, in May some 6,500 new cars were sold, which is 47% more than in the same month last year.
