MOSCOW, June 1 - Gazprom assesses the risk of Ukraine seizing its property abroad as entirely negligible, Gazprom deputy department head Sergei Kuznets said during a conference call.
"There is a decision by Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee imposing an immense fine for violations that, Gazprom believes, we did not commit. We are not a monopolist on the Ukrainian market. Nonetheless the decision was made. Gazprom has exhausted practically every possibility to appeal this decision inside Ukraine. Now procedures to enforcing collection of this fine are underway," he said.
