KIEV, June 1 - There is no firm belief that Russia will continue to transit its gas through Ukraine's gas transportation system (GTS) after 2019, according to the draft Energy Strategy of Ukraine until 2035, posted on the website of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry.
"There is a high probability that until 2019 inclusive the volume of Russian gas transit will remain in the range of 50-80 billion cubic meters. At the same time, at the moment there is no documentary evidence regarding the continuation of Russian gas transit through the territory of Ukraine after 2019," reads the document.
