LUHANSK, April 18 ??“ Russian companies are interested in purchasing Ukraine??™s LuhanskTeplovoz Holding, the biggest producer of locomotives in the former Soviet Union, and other companies based in the Luhansk region, local official said.

Mykhailo Popov, the Deputy Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, said the Russian companies from the Rostov region, which borders Luhansk, have pledged to bid at a recent meeting.
