LONDON, April 18 ??“ Fitch Ratings said Tuesday it will watch policy of Kiev Mayor elect Leonid Chernovetskiy for clues whether to downgrade ratings of Bank Kreshchatyk that may be affected by changes in the city government.

Chernovetsky, who owns a mid-sized Pravex Bank, has apparently stated its intentions to transfer substantial current account balances of the city government out of Khreschatyk. He may also sell the city??™s stake in Kreshchatyk, Fitch said.
