KIEV, May 5 - Ukraine's international reserves as of the beginning of May amounted to $17.175 billion (in equivalent), which is 13.57% more than a month earlier, according to the relevant preliminary data posted on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
According to the central bank, the lion's share of the increase in reserves was provided by funds from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the EFF program in the amount of $996.2 million (in equivalent) and EUR579.1 million from the European Commission.
