KIEV, April 13 ??“ Ukraine's Justice Ministry registered a National Electricity Regulatory Commission resolution that allows a 25% increase in domestic prices for natural gas and electricity rates for households as of May 1, officials said.

The move opens way for Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national oil and gas company, to charge greater prices after a decade of restrictions that may help the company to avoid a financial crunch.
