KIEV, April 11 – Ukraine's State Property Fund has said that Odessa Port-Side Plant could be privatized by late 2017.
"We have repeatedly launched preparations for the privatization of this facility. We have launched the process. I think that in H2 2017, at the end of the year, it could be sold," SPF head Ihor Bilous said at a briefing in Kiev on Tuesday.
He said that the preparation for the sale of the plant before late 2017 is linked not to the debt of the enterprise to Dmytro Firtash's Ostchem or Naftogaz Ukrainy. It is first linked to the situation on the global chemical products market, in particular, urea and ammonia.
