KIEV, March 30 – Despite its parent company’s declaring bankruptcy, Westinghouse Electric Sweden, a division of Westinghouse Electric Company (the United States), will produce and supply nuclear fuel to six Ukrainian VVER-1000 reactors under a contract with Energoatom.

Westinghouse Electric Sweden says it has a solid financial positions and will not be affected by bankruptcy. The company will produce and supply nuclear fuel to six Ukrainian VVER-1000 reactors under the contract as agreed, the company said.
