KIEV. March 14 – President Petro Poroshenko said that the ratification of the Free Trade Area Agreement between Ukraine and Canada opens a symbolic transatlantic bridge of free trade.

"This is a historic moment for our bilateral trade with Canada, the country that systematically, on a permanent basis, supports Ukraine and helps in developing the economic potential of our state. This agreement opens a symbolic transatlantic bridge of free trade," the president said in a statement on ratification of the agreement, posted on the website of the president.
