KIEV, March 7 - The National Bank of Ukraine will initiate imposing sanctions on the subsidiary bank of Sberbank of Russia in Ukraine - public joint-stock company Sberbank, if information that the parent bank is ready to service persons with ID documents issued by the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) is confirmed.
"If this information is confirmed, the NBU will initiate the issue of imposing sanctions against PJSC Sberbank at the meeting of the NSDC [National Security and Defense Council]," the NBU said on Tuesday.
