KIEV, March 6 - KTD Group, specializing in imports and production of household appliances (Saturn, Laretti, ST, Defiant brands), plans in March to begin production at a new plant in Cherkasy, which at the first stage will manufacture ovens and plans within a year to start production of refrigerators and convection heaters.

"We are opening a plant in Cherkasy at the end of March. Now we are installing and testing equipment, we'll manufacture ovens. In summer we'll run a large refrigerator factory," president of the company Oleksandr Hromyko said.
