KIEV, March 6 - Avdiyivka Coke and Chemical Plant (Donetsk region) stopped operating on Monday due to insulation damage on one of its power cables, but says that the situation has been swiftly resolved.
"Today there has been a full emergency stoppage because of the punctured insulation on one of the cables that were damaged by shelling a number of times. However, within an hour we were able to launch - with the aid of a 2.5-megawatt generator and a slow starter - jet blower number three and restart coke-drawing and generate power on our own. We are alive and continue work," director general of the plant Musa Magomedov wrote on Facebook on Monday.
