KIEV, March 6 - Odessa port-side chemical plant on March 6 resumed production of carbamide and ammonia, the State Property Fund said.

"The company has successfully completed all the necessary preparation cycles after the recent downtime and transfers to production of finished goods. Today three out of the four major departments work at the plant. It is expected that in March-April 2017 the plant will earn profit," the report reads.

At the end of December 2016 the State Property Fund announced the decision to suspend production at Odessa port-side chemical plant due to high natural gas prices and accumulated debts to Naftogaz Ukrayiny.
