KIEV, Feb. 28 – Wage arrears in Ukraine increased by 6.5% in January 2017 and on February 1, 2017 amounted to UAH 1.908 trillion.
According to the State Statistics Service, wage arrears at economically active enterprises in January decreased by 22.2% or by UAH 248 million and on February 1, 2017 amounted to UAH 870.3 million.
The increase in wage arrears in the last month of the current year was recorded in Chernivtsi (three times), Volyn (2.6 times), Ternopil (50.9%), Rivne (24.7%), Cherkasy (15.9%), Zaporizhia (12.9%), Kharkiv (11.6%), and Donetsk regions (11.1%).
