AVDIYIVKA, Feb. 27 – Power supply has been resumed in the embattled Donetsk region town of Avdiyivka as of 5 p.m. on Monday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent said.
At about 2:30 p.m. the Russian side of the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) gave written confirmation of guarantees regarding the ceasefire and repair teams immediately began eliminating two electrical transmission line breakages near Avdiyivka. After the repairs and a technical check at substations were completed, the electricity supply in Avdiyivka was restored, the Interfax-Ukraine correspondent said.
