KIEV, Feb. 24 – A number of Ukrainian political experts have said early parliamentary elections in Ukraine are increasingly likely.
"We witnessed increasing chaos in February, destabilizing trends and now just try to convince me that there won't be early parliamentary elections … Those who today say early polls are not beneficial will simply pray for an early election because the, obviously, will lower tension in society, in politics and the crisis among the elites," Institute of Global Strategies Director Vadym Karasiov said.
Gardarika Strategic Consulting Corporation's Konstiantyn Matviyenko said it is necessary to hold early elections. He added that it is necessary for Parliament first to pass a new election law and change the composition of the Central Election Commission.
