IMF says it's still ironing out issues with Ukraine authorities
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Feb. 23 - The International Monetary Fund is still working with Ukrainian authorities to get agreement on a memorandum of cooperation, IMF spokesman Gerry Rice said.

"It is not unusual in programs, sometimes it takes a little bit of time to address the issues and the board dates are sometimes adjusted accordingly. It is really not unusual," he said during a regular press briefing in Washington.

Once the document is finalized, the proposal to complete the next review of the EFF program will be presented to the IMF Executive Board in the coming weeks, Rice said.
