KIEV, April 7 ??“ Ukrainian Radio Systems (URS), a small mobile services operator owned by VimpelCom, Russia??™s No. 2 cell phone company, plans to launch the Beeline brand in Ukraine after completing registration of the trademark and settling some legal issues.

"The advertising of the launch does not mention Beeline. We should have great confidence that all issues on the registration of the Beeline trademark are settled and there are no legal obstacles," URS Director General Serhiy Mironov said at a press conference in Kiev on Thursday.
