KIEV, Feb. 22 – Ukraine will allocate UAH 9 billion for the development and purchase of modern weapons in 2017, President Petro Poroshenko said.

"This year we have budgeted UAH nine billion to develop new and modernized types of armaments and military equipment," Poroshenko told troops assembled at an Army General Staff meeting in Kiev on Wednesday.
