KIEV, Feb. 20 - Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Administration has asked the Ukrainian government to improve raw materials customs clearing for Karpatnaftokhim LLC, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.

The ministry said that the issue was discussed with First Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv and First Deputy Energy and Coal Industry Minister Halyna Karp on February 17.

Ilkham Mamedov, who earlier headed LUKOIL-Ukraine, bought a controlling stake in Karpatnaftokhim LLC.
