WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 - The flare-up in violence in Eastern Ukraine between the government and pro-Russia separatists doesn’t appear to be part of preparations for a larger conflict, the Pentagon said.

“We’re troubled by it. We’ve taken note of it. What we haven’t seen is any kind of large-scale movement of Russian forces that would suggest this is part of something bigger,” said Pentagon spokesperson Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, TMNews reported. “This is a flare-up of violence, the most significant flare-up we’ve seen since 2015.”
