KIEV, Feb. 9 – Industrialbank (Zaporizhia) and Express-Bank (Kiev) want to merge, Industrialbank Chairman Mykhailo Bukreyev said.

"Industrialbank and Express-Bank will merge. This is an absolutely rational step for us. As it was said it is unnecessary luxury to own two banks by one shareholder," he said at a roundtable devoted to the relaxed bank capitalization and reorganization rules held in Kiev on Wednesday.

Bukreyev expressed confidence that both banks clients and shareholders will take advantages from the merger.
