KIEV, Feb. 6 – The Ukrtsukor national association of sugar producers forecasts that sugar exports from Ukraine in the 2016-2017 marketing year (September through August) may reach 500,000 tons, which will be 4.4 times up year-over-year.

"Ukrainian producers have already shipped 409,700 tons of sugar onto foreign markets in the 2016-2017 marketing year. Therefore, sugar exports are likely to exceed 500,000 tons this marketing year," Ukrtsukor quoted head of its analytical department Ruslan Butylo as saying.
