KIEV, Feb. 1 – The state-controlled Ukrgasbank (Kiev) and the German-Ukrainian Fund (GUF) signed on Wednesday a memorandum on strategic partnership and cooperation.
The memorandum was signed by First Deputy Chairman of Ukrgasbank Andriy Kravets and CEO of the GUF Oleh Strynzha.
"The German-Ukrainian Fund is one of the most important tools for government support of small and medium-sized businesses. We intend to use the available resources to the full extent. In particular, the cooperation with Ukrgasbank will allow the efficient use of the resources of the Fund to support agricultural producers and energy efficiency projects. The Office for the Administration of International Financial Cooperation Projects, which provides for the activities of the Fund, is working on the further expansion of the project portfolio," Deputy Finance Minister Yuriy Butsa, who took part in the signing ceremony, said.
