KIEV, Jan. 25 - Ukrainian automotive corporation Bogdan announced it will present Bars-8, a new Ukrainian multipurpose armored vehicle, to potential customers in the Middle East during the 13th international defense exhibition IDEX 2017 to be held in Abu Dhabi (the UAE) on February 19-23.

The four-wheel drive armored vehicle Bars-8 is an in-house development of Bogdan Motors automobile company, part of the corporation. It is designed on the basis of an American Ram pickup - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles division. It has a load capacity of more than two tons and is designed for the transportation of personnel up to ten people. The armored vehicle is equipped with a turbo-diesel engine of U.S. Cummins Turbo Diesel with the power of 385 hp in tandem with a Japanese Aisin transmission.
