KIEV, Jan. 26 - Ukrainian airlines saw a 31.3% rise in passenger transportation in 2016, to 8.278 million people. Cargo and mail transportation grew by 5.2%, to 74,300 tons.

According to the State Aviation Service, 29 Ukrainian airlines serviced 79,500 commercial flights in 2016, including 19 Ukrainian airlines serviced passengers.

Passenger flow via Ukrainian airports increased by 20.9%, to 12.93 million people.
