KIEV, April 3 ??“ EnergoAtom, the state-owned nuclear power generator, plans to commission the first storage pump at Tashlykska Hydro Power Battery Plant in operation within the next three months, the government??™s press service said Monday.

Tashlykska plant, based in the Mykolayiv region in the southern part of Ukraine, is supposed to work in tandem with South-Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant to run during peak hours of power consumption. The new power plant will allow Ukraine to increase power exports.
