KIEV, Jan. 11 - Ukrainian coal mining enterprises in 2016 increased production of run-of-mine coal by 2.8%, or 1.119 million tons, year-over-year, to 40.864 million tons, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.

Coking coal output in 2016 grew by 0.4%, or 36,300 tons, to 8.361 million tons and production of steam coal increased by 3.4%, or 1.083 million tons, to 32.503 million tons.
