KIEV, Jan. 10 – European Commission Vice-President for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said that the European Union is ready to lend Ukraine EUR 100 million to fill the Energy Efficiency Fund.
"Maros Sefcovic has assured that the EU supports the government's efforts to reform Ukraine's energy sector. The European Commission vice-president also said the EU is ready to lend Ukraine EUR 100 million to fill the Energy Efficiency Fund, noting the need for the adoption of the laws on the Energy Efficiency Fund, the electricity market, on the regulator in the field of energy and public services by the Ukrainian parliament," the Ukrainian government's press service reported.
