KIEV, Jan. 4 – The Holos Ukrayiny newspaper in the special attachment to the newspaper issue on December 31 published laws amending the Tax Code of Ukraine to improve investment climate (No. 1797-VIII, bill No. 5368) and amending the Tax Code of Ukraine and some Ukrainian laws to provide for the balance of budget revenue in 2017 (law No. 1791-VIII, bill No. 5132).

The laws took effect on January 1, 2017.

The law balancing budget revenues that increases excise duties for alcohol, tobacco, royalties for deposit and radio frequency use says that the amendments for the excise duties for alcohol drinks with excise labels will take effect on the first day of the third month from the moment when the law took effect.
