KIEV, Dec. 29 - Ukraine’s largest privately-owned mining and power generating company DTEK plans to import 100,000 metric tons of coal from Poland in the first two months of 2017 to compensate for domestic shortages, the company reported Thursday.
DTEK will import 50,000 mt of thermal coal from Poland in January and 50,000 mt in February to secure steady operation of its thermal power plants, the company said.
