KIEV, April 1 ??“ An ultra leftist and pro-Russian group led by Natalia Vitrenko launched a massive protest in Kiev Saturday after preliminary ballot counting had showed the group had failed to make it to Parliament.

Group activists set up at least 140 red and blue tents, Vitrenko??™s campaign color, in front of the Central Election Commission, demanding ballots cast on the March 26 vote to be re-counted.
