KIEV, Dec. 20 - Antonov State Enterprise has finished building an An-132D multipurpose plane-demonstrator with a carrying capacity of 9.2 tons for Saudi Arabia.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at Antonov on Tuesday with participation of President Petro Poroshenko.

The head of state congratulated the project participants with the completion of the An-132D plane-demonstrator. He expressed confident that the project would be the first step in implementing a large potential of Ukrainian-Arabian cooperation. He thanked Arabian partners for the participation in financing the project. He said that thanks to An-132 Saudi Arabia would receive the basis for creating own aviation industry.
